Kelly

Kelly Clarkson was an American musician and singer who became America's Sweetheart after winning American Idol in the inaugural series of the show. She was not only a star after the win however, she also has signed a contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records" for several albums. Since then, she's released many studio albums, three of which reached the top list of the US Billboard 200' chart and the rest of her albums just fell short of the top spot. She's among the most popular performers to emerge of American Idol. When she was successful, she tried different themes and music styles often writing her own songs to her own personal experiences. Her work was praised by critics and several prestigious awards for her distinct voice and prowess. She's been honored with the Grammy Award 3 times. Aside from her work in the music industry, she's appeared in film as well as television programs. She also penned the kids' book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and is involved with a number of charities.
