Meagan Good was born in Panorama City, Los Angeles on 8 August 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle was her manager as she entered her teens. The acting career of Meagan Good began around the age of four. Her family was from Canyon Country, California with three siblings. Early in her career, she worked as an extra on TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen or M.D. In the year she turned 13years old, her first appearance in a film Friday took place. Her first recognition came from her character as the troubled teen Cisely Batiste in the movie Eve's Bayou in 1997 for which she was awarded two nominations. One of them was her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good took small roles in film and on television for a couple of years before transitioning into roles that were more mature at the dawn of the 2000s. The role she played was Nina, Nickelodeon T.V.'s Cousin Skeeter. show from 1998 through 2001. The show ran from 1998 to 2001. She also played minor role on the film House Party, Down to the Very Final Minute as well as 3 Strikes. In 2003 she portrayed Vanessa Scott, a character in My Wife and Kids. In 2004, she appeared in D.E.B.S, an action comedy film that resulted in her being nominated as Best Actress at the Black Movie Awards in 2005. In the following years, she was in films such as You Get Served The Cookout, Venom One Missed Call Waist Deep and The Love Guru. In 2012, she appeared appearing on T.V. and in films she was the lead character Mya in the film series with multiple stars Think Like a Man and Ms. Stevens in Dysfunctional Friends. Killmer was a student at Baylor University Waco Texas. There she received an B.F.A. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2010 in the arts of performance. The actress began her career in 2010, when she appeared in Simon Fuller's web series, If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer, who had performed in several local productions prior to her first appearance on the screen in the year 2010, starred on Simon Fuller's Hulu program If I Can Dream. The show on Hulu, If I Can Dream revolves on the daily lives of bunch of musicians who live in Hollywood California.
