Aahoo Jahansouzshahi (January 10, 1980) who is professionally known as Sarah Shahi, is an American actress. She was formerly model. She was the actress who played Carmen in The L Word 2005. Kate Reed, USA Network's legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-12), and Sameen Shaw on CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012)-2016. Additionally, she appeared in the main role in the drama Det. Dani Reese appeared in Life [3] and in Alias in a supporting role. [4] In 2018, she was a part of the television series Reverie. In the year 2019, she was as a regular character in City on a Hill on Showtime[5] as well as in seven episodes of The Rookie as romantic interest Jessica Russo While working as an extra on the set of Dr. T and the Women in Texas, Shahi met director Robert Altman, who encouraged her to move to Hollywood and she was offered the roles in various series such as Alias Dawson's Creek, Reba, and Supernatural. In 2005, she took on the role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales the supporting character of The L Word. She was a part of the show's second season. Shahi's two-year contract was not renewed following the conclusion of the fourth season and her character was written off.
